Diptychs & collages

This is my background in graphic design that’s kicking in, as through diptychs I can play with shapes, compositions, and colours, but with stories as well. I find making diptychs and collages can enhance a meaning, an analogy, or in the contrary a mystery. The photos call each others. Sometimes they answer, and sometimes we can even hear their silences.

Some of the work I am showing in this section are of a childhood place, in the Basque Country, I could call home. In some diptychs I have included photos taken from an old book about the region. It is my last dance around the house, and its garden, and trees, and street. It is a goodbye, an abyss, a memory.
